Our founders all come from a background in architecture. LIVEDIN was born from a deep frustration in the current way the UK does housing and a belief that it can be done better.

Tom Howard

CEO

Tom loves designing and making. He has been an architect for nearly two decades, has worked and studied around the world, has completed an ambitious self-build for his own family, and is passionate about making it possible for others to do the same. He has also been a regular contributor to the Right to Build Task Force Masterclasses.

Charlotte Armitage

Content and Communications

Charlotte leads on content and communications specialising in video content.

Charlie de Bono

CMO

Charlie is an architect, convinced of the benefits of great design. He has been a scholar with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, caring deeply for our historic building and landscape. He is also an active participant of our trade body NACSBA, helping with innovative policy.

Milo Mason

Project Manager

Milo qualified as a photographer before going on to work in architecture as a designer and project manager. He is a passionate self-builder / maker, recently completing his own self-build for his family.

May Fisher

community lead

May, with a background in architecture, has worked and volunteered on a range building and land-based projects internationally. She's interested in the cumulative effect of many ambitious people, often with no formal training, building sustainable communities one project at a time. She leads on connecting the Livedin Community - whether self-builders, architects or community groups.

Tomas Millar

CTO

Tomas developed his passion for self-build whatching people build their own homes on a remote island in Canada. As well as and architect Tomas is also a technology and data geek - building tools and software to give greater transpaency and inights into the industry.

John Rowley

Planning Lead

John is passionate about creating great places to live and making existing communities better. He has a wealth of town planning experience from the public and charity sectors, with a particular focus on policy and legislation. He also has a keen interest in technology, especially in finding innovative ways to use open data and AI to improve how planning is done.
