Howe Park is a certified Passivhaus home designed for a local charity to let, designed to meet the charities environmental principles and showcase ultra-low energy living. It achieved the highest airtightness score in the UK at the time of construction, maintaining that position for several years. The house combines exceptional insulation, airtight construction, and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery to deliver consistent comfort and minimal energy use. Continually let since completion, it proves that sustainable homes can be practical, attractive, and durable. Howe Park stands as a leading example of how thoughtful design can achieve outstanding environmental performance in real-world conditions.
